In the case of two or more row instruments, our preference leans towards equal temperament, enhancing the sound quality, especially in cross-row play. When it comes to two-voice instruments, we specialize in Viennese style tuning, where one voice is pitched above the standard and the other equally below it. This careful adjustment creates a gentle tremolo effect, striking a balance between a dry and a wet tone, distinct from the standard Hohner tuning.

In our dedicated tuning workshop, equipped with an array of digital tuners and specialized accordion tuning software, we meticulously fine-tune treble, bass, and chord reeds. Custom tuning includes comprehensive activities such as tuning the entire instrument, spot tuning specific reeds, retuning to the concert A=440Hz reference frequency, and preserving historical tunings. We address buzzing or non-sounding reeds, balance sound thresholds, and troubleshoot issues like warbling or poor-sounding notes.
